In case you missed it on social, our July community theme is unplug because, well, don't we all need a little downtime?
Earlier in the summer I participated in an eight-week course on resiliency, taught by our friend Marie Bodine (who has done some amazing ICology workshops, too!) The course focused on how we can best help ourselves move through the tough stuff with grace and compassion.
One of the small habits I committed to was putting my phone "to bed" half an hour before I did that same. It's stuck and I have to say it's had a profound impact on my overnight sleep and my morning mood.
